Attorney David Slonim founded The Slonim Law Firm in March 2005. Mr. Slonim graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Anthropology. He then studied law at the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL. Over the last ten years, the firm has expanded from a small single office to offices spanning both coasts in Florida and in between, having offices in Melbourne, Kissimmee, Jacksonville, and Clearwater.
David and the team are currently helping individuals and families by focusing the practice in the areas of Incapacity Planning, Estate Planning, Guardianships, Probates, Asset Preservation Planning and Medicaid Planning. Mr. Slonim has been accredited by the US Department of Veteran's Affairs, permitting him to further aid his clients in many areas of Veterans Benefits.
Mr. Slonim is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys; the Florida Bar sections of Elder Law, Business Law, Real Property Probate & Trust; and a member of the Brevard county Bar Association.
Additionally, he is a Past two-term President of the Melbourne Rotary club, and formerly on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity. He is on the executive board for both the Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation and of the Jewish Federation of Brevard.
David is also a licensed and certified PADI Divemaster and private pilot.
