Shellye attended Siena College in Albany, New York, majoring in Political Science/Economics. She first worked in the areas of Residential and Commercial Real Estate and Family Law.  After taking time off to raise her family, she started back in the area of Estate Planning and Probate and Trust Administration. She has been an integral part of starting a new law firm as well as training associates in Probate and Trust Administration who have then moved on to successful careers.  Shellye has participated in numerous Legal Aid cases.  Shellye has done fund raising for local nonprofits, especially those related to the arts and special education She enjoys spending her free time with her family and has recently relocated back to her hometown in Wester New York.
