Kathleen M. Good

Attorney

Attorney Kathleen Good primarily focuses on Elder Law; including Estate Planning, Probate/Trust Administration, Guardianship, Incapacity Planning, Special Needs Trusts and Medicaid Planning. She strives to make a positive difference in the lives of her clients and their families, building lifelong relationships while protecting their assets.

Prior to joining Slonim Law, Kathleen spent the majority of her career in public service, with more than two decades serving various roles within Pinellas County Government. As an accomplished economic development and real estate professional, she aimed to foster local business growth and the economic vitality of businesses in the region, making her well versed in the unique legal and environmental aspects of land use, including airport development. She has also served as adjunct professor at St. Leo University and Massachusetts Communications College teaching numerous business classes such as the Legal Environment of Business.

Kathleen holds a Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law and obtained her Master of Political Communication and Global Marketing from Emerson College, Boston, MA. While at Emerson, she completed an external program at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel Diplomatic Academy and a graduate internship with the U.S. Embassy, Foreign Commercial Section in Brussels, Belgium. Kathleen received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Akron, Akron, OH.

Ms. Good is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys; the Florida Bar sections of Elder Law, Business Law, Real Property Probate and Trust; the Clearwater and St. Petersburg Bar Associations, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Pinellas County Guardian Association, and Better Living for Seniors of Pinellas County.

Kathleen is a blackbelt in Taekwondo and an operatically trained vocalist. She is a former member of the Second Time Arounders Marching Band and she has toured and performed as a member of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.
