Samwise Slonim, affectionately known as Sam, was born a little over five years ago to a litter of five other siblings in Williston, FL. Since coming home to Brevard, he has grown to fully encapsulate what it means to be a Border Collie. Over the course of his life so far, he has herded not just sheep (shout out to Judith Kelly at Asher Dell Farms), but all manner of small children and continues to bring joy and smiles to all who know him.

At home, Sam ensures that David Slonim, the owner of the Slonim Law Firm, is constantly active, with runs as long as 2.5 miles both in the morning and in the evening (David rides his bike next to Sam), in addition to regular games of frisbee and ball throwing and catching. Sam has become a nearly daily “Pawalegal” at the Slonim Law Firm, greeting every client with his trademark sheep puppet for a game of catch (actually first provided by an appreciative client). Having Sam in the office brings a genuine calm to clients who are generally dealing with dfficult family situations. He is a staple at the office, with clients regularly asking about him if he isn’t around.
