Meet David Netzley, Elder Law Attorney in Melbourne, FL

David is a native Floridian, who grew up in Satellite Beach, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law. After college in Gainesville and law school in St. Petersburg, David began his legal career in Orlando in 1998 and returned “home” to Brevard County in 2014 with his wife and two daughters, and they all absolutely love living in Florida’s Space Coast. David was born and raised in the Space Coast and feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to move back and serve others in this wonderful community.

Prior to joining Slonim Law in 2025, David worked at various law firms, as well as in-house legal counsel positions with a regional grocery chain, a vocational school group that has campuses across the country, and an international satellite communications company based in London. David also practiced several years in his own practice, specializing in corporate/business law, estate planning/probate/elder law/guardianships, real estate, employment law, immigration, and family law, including adoptions. David is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts and before the United States District Courts for the North, South, and Middle Districts of Florida. In addition to his legal practice, David is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified County, Circuit and Family Mediator.

Out of the office, David enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family, traveling, a variety of watersports, snowboarding, listening to live music, and cheering on all of the Florida Gators’ sports programs. David also enjoys giving back to the community, and he has coached youth sports, recreational and competitive, for much of the past twenty years, most recently with the Satellite High School indoor and beach volleyball teams.
