Food Packing for The Children’s Hunger Project

We are thrilled to be participating with The Children’s Hunger Project for our upcoming food packing event scheduled for Sept. 5th, 2024 from 9:00am – 11:00am. There are 30 spots available to be part of making sure kids have the food they need to be successful students and healthy humans in general. If its on your heart to join us, please take a moment to complete the following steps:
- Sign Up: Make sure everyone in your group reserves their spot using the Sign-Up Genius link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0A44ABAB23A7F94-47445851-packing (scroll down to the bottom)
- Waiver: All participants must have a waiver on file before the event. Minors under 18 must be listed on a parent/guardian waiver with an adult signature.

Here are the essential details for the packing event:
- Location: The Children’s Hunger Project, 26 Forrest Ave, Cocoa, FL, 32922.
- Parking: Available on both the west and east sides of the building.
- Check-in: Please sign in upon arrival and ensure your volunteer/waiver forms are verified.
- Gathering: Volunteers will assemble in the conference room before the packing session begins. Packing begins promptly at 9:00am.
- Packing: We will start promptly at time of packing with 15 volunteers per table.
- Recommendations: Bring a water bottle (refills provided) and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes for safety.
- Children: Children aged 8 and older are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
