David H. Slonim Attorney David Slonim began The Slonim Law Firm in March 2005. Mr. Slonim graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in Anthropology. He then studied law at the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL. David was involved in the community through his work as an officer of both the Immigration Law Society and the Law and Technology Society. He was also on the Executive Board of the Center for Strategic Governance and International Initiatives. In addition to practicing before the local courts, Mr. Slonim is licensed to practice before the United States Middle District of Florida. Since coming to Brevard, David has been privileged to work as corporate general counsel for an aircraft company, as an associate with a firm dealing in complex business transactions, and as an associate with another Elder Law firm. He has been honored to work with some of the best elder care professionals in Brevard. David is currently working with individuals and families in the areas of various Real Estate and Business transactions, Intellectual Property such as Trademarks, Copyrights and software licensing, and Incapacity Planning, Estate Planning, Guardianships, Probates, Medicaid planning,. Mr. Slonim is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys; the Florida Bar sections of Elder Law, Business Law, Real Property Probate & Trust, the Young Lawyers Division; and the American Bar Association sections of Real Property and Probate, Business Law, the Young Lawyers Division; and a member of the Brevard county Bar Association. Additionally, he is President of the Melbourne Rotary club and on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity. David is also a licensed and certified PADI Divemaster and private pilot. |
